HTTPLauncher is a simple REST-like server for remote control of a Windows computer. It listens on HTTP port 8008 (configurable) for posts, and executes the command embedded in the URL. This allows running commands or executing scripts on the remote machine from any browser on any platform, without installation of any client or application. The server can also be used as part of home-automation systems such as the Amazon Echo to have any computer in your house perform tasks using voice-control. For usage details, examples and info on integration with Amazon Echo (Alexa), visit my blog Cool Ideaz.
